How to optimize the UX of a new airplane company

Air Belgium is the new Belgian aviation company. Air Belgium focuses on sunny destinations like Martinique or Mauritius for those who want to get away from it all. Air Belgium offers a quality flight experience with state-of-the-art aircraft and all the new technologies on board.

The first role of the website is to increase their online sales. We designed and then improved their online booking experience with an overhaul of the reservation system. We proposed an UX that avoids invalid results, in fact the destinations are only served once or twice a week and it was important not to allow searches outside of availability so as not to cause frustration. This reservation system was then applied to the reservation of hotels and rental cars.

Then the objective of the website is to start the online journey with a site organised to illustrate the different services on board.

Tech
The solution is Wordpress hosted on a scalable Azure Kubernetes, solid enough to absorb peak visits.

The reactivity of Greg and his team compared to the imposed short deadline and demands that shifted daily.
